train to prop

2016/7/16 9:55:17

Question
I play tight-head prop at my high school, starting on A side my first year playing. I also play football at offensive tackle. I was wondering what exercises I could do to improve my speed, endurance, and strength. I already lift weights and run occasionally, but need to get into better shape to prepare for my senior year season. I am less that fit, but am not a lost cause. I would appreciate any feedback on this matter.
Thanks,
Brian

Answer
I do not give workout routines - I try to make that clear in my bio. I always tell people to go to a personal trainer with certified experience who understands rugby to meet with you get an understanding of where you are at now, where you want to get to (goals) and factor in diet, rest, agility and an entire pre-season, seasonal work out based on your body , age and ability.

No two people are the same and the Internet is not a safe way for me to give you training advice.
