Move to inside center

Question
I'am 17 and believe I have good rugby instincs. I'am a
Openside Flanker for my highschool team. I'am one of the top
3 tacklers on the team along with aggression. But I do not
get the ball as often as I would like. And yes I'am all for
the team winning but I would like to test myself more and
see what I can do for the team with the ball but opportunies
are slim at flank for our team.
I have recently played a game with a mens club at wing and
scored the first try with a few other good plays.
The question I have is how I can take all of this and become
and Inside Center? What will I need? I have the tools to do
well at other positions but I would like to try my hand at
12. What is the job of a center and what other tactics or
advise would you give me?
Answer
G'day Griff,
I am a bit of an amatuer at the back line positions and rather than make a hash of it I will forward you to a link from a guy who will give what I think a center does and more.
Also; sorry to take so long to get back to you just to pass you on.
