Rugby: Scrum halves

Question
Hello,
I think I've heard you say a few times that a good way to improve is to watch some professional players. I play scrumhalf and I抦 wondering if you know some more powerful scrumhalves as I am a bigger scrumhalf myself and love to tackle and am not afraid whatsoever to take on someone bigger. It would be nice to see some footage of a scrumhalf that plays the way I like to.
Thanks a lot ,
Rob
Answer
HI Rob, any of the super 15 half backs are playing hard right now especially the New Soulth Wales #9. When Peri Weepu gets back up and running he is a perfecr example of a physical #9. Looking back look for games with Joost Vanderwesthaven (I know I have spelt his name wrong) he played on the Spring Boks about 5 to 8 years ago and was big about 6'2"+ and really good.
At the end of the day the big thing with #9 is to play a heads up game, look for holes to run in, and for flat defenses coming up so you can take advantage of a box kick over their backs. As a #9 you need to be looking for options so take a moment to look left and right and behing the defenses before you go, eventually you will get more instinct to it.
All talk to your forwards a lot loudly, tell them where you need them and even grab them and shove them in the right spot if needed.
