Feet being lifted off the floor of the scrum

Question
I am a 20 year old prop in England playing for the past 5 years or so playing at club level for a team with a very similar front 5 pretty much every week. Recently i have just came back from injury playing with a different set of players and for the first time i have been lifted up in the scrum with my feet coming off the ground and it is quite hard for me with rather short legs for my 5"11 height and i have also lost a bit of my overall strength and added a bit more weight. I wanted to know whether i should revise my own technique or is it more to do with the 2nd row behind me.
Answer
You are not a tall prop (relatvely speaking) so I guess the problem is that you (and your lock) are engaging too high. I am a shorter prop (5'9") so I like to engage as low as I can get to for the opposition prop to have his head lower than his hips - he get "pinched" between his lock and me and it creates only one or two ways for the pressure to exit- either his feet leaves the ground, her "pops" his head and shoulders or he collapses. These are all ok by me. I'll take driving a prop back in nice "by the book" style but you take what you can get get.
I am going to put links below - I suggest you read then and watch the video especially the All Black scrum coach Mike Cron and his comments on the "pelvic tilt" and head/spin alignment.
Really follow You Tube especially video posted by the All Blacks, South Africans and the Kiwi scrum coach Mike Cron.
Study technique a lot, here are some places to start:

Also there are some GREAT pointers on You Tube. If you go to You Tube and search using the key words: "building the scrum" you will find a great set of videos about scrum technique originally from www.rugbydevelopment.com Get the whole team to view them. Key word search "Mike Cron scrum" for direct tips from the All Black scrum coach.
