What do you rate England's chances of retaining the cup in 2007?

My gut feeling is no, they will not retain the world cup.

I think there was a unique confluence of circumstances that brought England to its glory.

Among these were the 揅live?paradigms that significantly brought a business mentality to the administration of the team

It appears that many of the management and administration philosophies left England when he left.

England continues to have issues with players not being released from premiership clubs to play for England.

Jonny Wilkinson, the magic boot, has continued to suffer injuries, most recently his left knee that will sideline him for the New Zealand match in November.

Andy Robinson, the head coach, is under the gun to produce positive results, or lose his job.  

Currently on the six nations tournament, England is ranked fourth with three losses and only two wins.

England is ranked as fifth favorites to defend their title behind New Zealand, France, Australia, and South Africa for the 2007 RWC.

England is in pool 1 with South Africa, Samoa, Americas 3 (USA or Uruguay), Repechage 2 (Poss. Tonga).  England may advance beyond the first round, but any further will likely be difficult.

I not a great student of international level rugby, so please take what I suggest with a grain of salt.
