Can you tell me what the "A" on front of some of the Team USA hockey jersies are for??

Good morning Don,

My apologies on the slow response, I was out of town for Regional tournament.

The A's on the jersey are to show who the Assistant Captains are. There is someone who has a C on their jersey and they are the captain.
