What is the nearest Tryouts?

Answer
The NHL teams do not have open tryouts where any player can go for a skate and try to make the team. You have to work your way up through the ranks. The highest level of hockey that has open tryouts is the ECHL but even going out for one of those could be tough without an agent. You can call and ask for more information. Here is a quote from their website

"How can I tryout for an ECHL team?

Because the ECHL does not hold a draft like the National Hockey League, individual teams are responsible for recruiting and signing their players. Players should contact the general manager or coach of an individual team to see if there is an opportunity for them to play in the ECHL. Individual team contact information can be found by selecting a team logo on the top of the site."
