27 and this is my last shot

Hi Mr. Lopez

My name is Dan Medeiros and I'm currently 27yrs old, 6"2, 190lbs and have been playing Hockey since I was 4yrs old. I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and grew up playing Top Tier House League, Rep League A, and High School Hockey and as good as I was and as far as i could have gone...the lack of money became the issue and with much heart break...I had to quit. 3 years ago I had the money and bought new equipment and got into Adult A leagues and played shinny/drop-in hockey multiple times a week in between games. I moved to Des Moines, Iowa back in April to Marry my Wife and I've decided to make the push to the next level down here in the US. I'm a very well rounded forward in every aspect (Playmaker, Power Forward, 2-way# I condition/train everyday and am on the ice 4 days a week #1 being my current mens A league)

With that being some background on me...I'm ready and focused more than anyone could be at making my push as far as I can possibly go till the day i can't walk on my own 2 feet anymore...thats how bad I want this. Again I live in Des Moines, Iowa and in the Spring of 2013 I would like to be trying out for semi-pro/minor-pro teams. But, since i missed out on the traditional "Juniors" "College/Uni" "AHL" etc I am now playing catch-up at the age of 27. But age means nothing to me as my will, determination and skill are what will get me to where I want to go. I just need some help and knowledge of where to start here in the US. I live, breathe, dream hockey...I just want my last shot...somewhere.

Well, I have a couple of contacts in Europe.  Would you be willing to go there and try out for a couple of semi-pro teams there?  One of the contacts I have is in one of the pro-leagues in Turkey.  Let me know.  Can you send me a Youtube link of some of your skills or games so I can forward this to them for there review?
