Well, it would be nearly impossible for me to give an opinion on what would be the best position for you this season. In reality, I would have to see you in person, or at least on film. However, I can give you 2 pieces of advice that might make your decision a little easier. So read the following and see what you think.
First, you have to seriously consider your talents, skills, and potential. IF you already play D line, why move? If you have a reason for moving, what is it? Make sure and put a lot of thought into your decision, and live with your choice.
Second, and maybe most important, is what does your team need the most? A lot of players are always thinking of their own personal wants and needs, but it is a rare player that does what's best for the team, even if it isnt what they ideally wanted. So while you are thinking about what you want next year, maybe you should talk to your coach to see what he NEEDS most next year. I think you will find that if you do this, you will be happy regardless.
Give it some thought, and make a choice that fits both your wants and the team's wants. Once you make the decision, stick with it and give it 100%. You will like what comes out of it regardless of what specific position you play.
Best wishes
