Coaching clinic

I am a coach for a small 9-man football team in South Dakota.  My questions is, do you know of a coaches clinic in the Mid-West that covers the zone blocking scheme and covers it inside and out?

Thanks for writing.  A 9 man team huh?  Wow!  Thats gotta be a real test of patience for a coach.  I get upset when I dont have 50 guys at practice.  How does that work? I am assuming you play an adapted style of football there.

I am a big believer and user of the zone blocking schemes for offense.  I am not familiar off hand with any, but I can assure you that with a little research on the net, you will find more than an adequate number of camps / clinics. It is becoming a very popular scheme, and there is great demand to learn it.  So my best advice is to google the key words "clinics camps zone blocking offensive line mid west"  etc.  See what you come up with.  I know there are many clinics out there just dont know where off hand.

Also, if you are 100% committed to this change, start searching for books in stores and on sites.  There are a ton of good ones out there, that cover the zone scheme from head to toe.  Look for ALEX GIBBS.  Anything from him.  He is the man who basically founded and developed the zone scheme, with Denver, then Atlanta.  He has a lot of good stuff out there, so look out for it. Its always good to go straight to the top I think.  He is the top in this area of expertise.

Good luck learning this scheme.  It takes a lot of work and teaching, but if done properly, should pay big dividends.
