hi I'm getting ready for my first season of foot ball as a B and I'm not to sure what i should be doing in the weight room

Well, it would be very hard for me to tell you what you should be doing at this point Dan.. It really depends on a lot of factors. What is your current size? Position you are going out for? What level are you at? Experience in the weight room? All of those would be needed to answer your question.
I am going to assume you are either in high school or middle school at this point. My suggestion is to get with your coach, and find out what kind of lifting program they have already. Your question is probabaly the #1 question I get, and I usually say the same thing. Most young players don't realize that their schools already have a program in place. Your coach will also be able to tell you what he wants you doing specifically, depending on what he may want you to try-out for this season.
So before going off and starting your own program, get your coach's input ok? IF there is no program in place already, then feel free to write back and let me know. I can try to get you going as best as possible.
