injury prone
Question
over the past 3 years i have been extremely injury prone. Right now im only 14 and i've had 2 surgeries on my left knee to repair a torn meniscus and partially torn acl. I also just recovered from a broken bone in my foot and a severe concussion why all of a sudden am i getting hurt so much?

Hello Avery and thank you for your question.
Injuries can be related to physiology (how your body is put together) and they can also be related to how you feel. The first think I'd recommend is getting a good medical evaluation from a physician who is sports-focused. There might be something going on regards your growth or other factors. The physician might recommend physical therapy or other things to strengthen your supportive structure.
There could also be a mental aspect. People who are under a lot of stress, who tense up, often tend to get hurt more. Relaxation training might help so you could learn to loosen up on the field (that's one thing I would do if I was working with a young football player who was getting hurt a lot).
