working out + football practice

is it ok for me to work out and have football practice all in the same day?

Yes I think it is ok. You are probable a young and full of energy. Just make sure not to over do your lifting. During the season I would not suggest trying to put on size. You should cut back on your lifting some. Try to just maintain your strength, not try and get stronger. Also don't lift on game days. Let your body rest, so that you can be a your best that night.
