Question
QUESTION: I'm 31 yrs old and i'm joining a flag football team as a WR. I was a great wr in my younger years now it seems like i'm dropping too many passes and get winded fast. Could you give me some pointers on how to get my skill back. Catching running routes and stretches i can do before a game. Thank You
ANSWER: John I guess it depends on how serious you a willing to take this league. I would suggest stretching not only before games but at least 3 to 4 days a week at home as well as before the game. I would also suggest catching 50 to 100 balls a day. Not just stationary catches either, be sure to run routes while you practice catching the football. If you do these simple things everyday you will be much more productive on the field. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!

QUESTION: is there a such thing as over stretching? What are some good stretches you can recommend?
Answer
It is important to stretch your growing and hamstrings. Some stretches are placing your left over your right and then touching the ground. Do this for both your right and left leg. Be sure to include butterflies stretches. Sit on your butt and put the bottom of your feet together and push down with your elbows on your knees. Do stationary squats as well this will stretch out the buttocks. Standing lunges are also good. And last but not least be sure to stretch the back. Lay on the ground and use your arms to hold your self up, arch your back. Then lay on your back and place your feet over your head stretching your back that way as well.
And no there is no such thing as over stretching. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!
