I want to be the best, and be recuited!

Question
Well, I'm a junior at my high school. We are a small 3A school. We have not had a winning season since 2005. I am sick of losing. I played at a big 5A school my freshman and sophomore year and they WON games. I want to be the STUD on the team. My positions are wide reciever, running back, tight end, corner back, free safety, kick/punt returner... I am right now the fastest player on the team... But its going to take more than just speed I know. I am 5'8" and i weigh 145... I Bench press 230, squat 250, cling 200. My 40 yd. time is 4.50, shuttle is 4.10...

But now my question is I want to be recuited. I want to play college football. I want to be the first guy to come out of my school and play college football. What is it going to take?? What do you feel I need to do to get better??

There are a couple things you can do to be attractive to schools as a player. The first thing is you need good grades and test scores.  Show the college you are a student athlete who they won't have to worry about in the classroom.  You have no idea how valuable this makes you to a team.
The next thing to do is to market yourself to the schools.  This is the toughest thing, but you will need to write to coaches to express your interest in them , their school and their program.  Provide them with game film of you and letters of recommendation from your high school coach and a teacher or principal.  Also a letter from an alum of the school doesn't hurt.
With that said you need to continue hitting the weight room and running.  The college will let you know what size player they are looking for and if you need to get bigger.
College recruit players that have talent and ability and they will always find the talented players.  You need to introduce your talents to the schools.
To be recruited without doing any of this is very rare, it occurs only to the best of the best.  It doesn't matter that you are at a 3A school or that your team is not winning state championships.  Coaches seek out talented players.
This is what it is going to take.  As for what to do to get better, you need to focus on your fundamentals, play flawless games, read your keys and achieve.  These are the very basic but they are vital to being recruited.  If you don't master the fundamental and the mechanics of your position it will show on film and coaches won't be as interested in you as others.  Also I can't stress enough how important your grades and test scores will be in the process.
