Tightend training help
Question
Hey, well i will be going into my senior season next year, and i've played tightend/wide reciver my entire career. I can squat about 450, bench 290, and clean about 200. i was just wondering if you had any pointers that would make me a better tightend so i could help my team turn things around next year
Thanks, Trey
Answer
A few things that separate good TE's from great ones is being able to both block well and run good routes. Depending on your scheme, be a good blocker first. During the offseason, work on getting quicker, more agile, and also get better at route running at do some ball catching drills.
These are things you can do with a coach right now if you choose. Become better in these areas and you will see significant improvement.
