Help on being a beter wide reciever
Question
Dear Mr. Mullins:
I'm 15 and a sophmore preparing for next years football season. I am trying to earn a starting position on my varsity football team as a wide receiver and return man. I'm 5'10" and weigh 158 lbs. I would like to get my speed up so i joined winter and spring track. Is there any way i can work on my jumping and catching and any other drills or advice you can give me you may know to help me become a better WR and start on varsity next year? any advice would be greatly appreciated
Answer
Since I do not know you personally, seek a local or professional certified trainer...Check w/ staff of a nearby college or junior college. Ask him/her for some specific routines for your particular size & goals. They will usually give you a complimentary & free analysis.
My first hint to you would be nutrition however. The proper foods would go farther that a strength program at this point. Get an appointment w/ a dietician at a local school or hospital for the best results.....
If this helped please rate me positively....If not please contact me back for more info.
Good Luck....Andy
