Help with starting out

Hey, I'm 14 years old and I'm just starting out playing
football next year. I'm going into high school and i was
thinking about being a receiver. I weigh about 120 pounds,
mostly muscle, and I'm pretty skinny. I was wondering if
being a receiver was a good choice, what a good exercise
schedule would be, and if this was a good choice. I'm
drinking protein shakes regularly (every morning and night
when I wake up and when I go to sleep) and am doing small
work outs (not a lot maybe 20-40 push ups and sit ups) Any
advice?

#1...Find a good local dietician...Check w/ a local hospital or college team. Allow them to help you w/ a full & complete proper diet...Just a protein shake will actually harm you if the rest is not in place. They will give you info at no cost.
Otherwise since I do not you & your abilities personally I can not properly advise you of positions. Ask your coach for a few minutes of his time in his office privately & express your desires & see where he suggests. Let him know you are serious about fulfilling your goals & dreams....
