Hello, You recently posted a question to Victor Winnek in category Football Instruction: Hey my name is darriel and i am 130 pounds and 5'6 and in the 10 grade i was wondering what kind of workout do you need to play middle linebacker and runningback i feel physically i haven't met the standards to play those positions and I'm moving up to varsity football next year and i feel i have to get bigger faster and stronger before the season starts again, do you have any tips for me to get faster,stronger,bigger and gain more agility and muscle and still being able to play middle linebacker and runningback and workouts for both positions ---- thank you,Darriel

If you are part of a team already I suggest you follow your coach's strength plan. You need to hit the weight room hard and the track as well. If you have just finished your season, give yourself about 4 weeks to rest [do light workouts in the gym/weight room until the first of the year] and your body to heal. The best thing to do is to work with your coach and have him help you as he knows what you need to work on.
