Hello, My name is Alex Herl and i'm a Defensive back playing mostly saftey.  I'm 5'10 and weight 150 lbs.,i'm currently a sophmore in high school.  I'm looking to get faster and hopefully start my senior year.  I lift weights and i was wondering if I should take protein or anything like that?  Please give me any advice that you can.

hi alex, yes you should definetly take supplements and lots of protein. these are the best things you can take in for your body. protein makes your muscles grow and get stronger. you should be having about your own weight in grams of protein ( you weigh 150, you should have 150g of protein, if not more.)  weights are great for you, also work on your speed and running power by doing sprints, suicides, run stairs and do footwork drills.
