am in a private school that does not offer football but would like to know the steps i should take to play college football

The steps you need to follow depends on each college football program.  There are some schools'; that may not be interested at all since you have not played.  The first step is to write to the schools' football coach and ask what his policy is for walking on to the team.  Next you need to makes sure you apply to the school as well - this is done through the school's admissions office. You will also need to fill out the appropriate paper work with the NCAA this can be obtained by going to www.NCAA.org go to the clearing house section and register as an incoming athlete.  These are the first steps.  You should do this ASAP.  Then follow up with the football office in mid-January after the bowl season.
