Question in NFL, if ur team is on the 10th yard line and its 4th down, how many yards do they take the football out to be kicked for a field goal?
Answer Normally, when the ball is snapped from the 10 yard line, the holder is seven yards back. So the actual kick is from the 17 yard line. Which would make it a 27 yard field goal, when you add in the 10 yards ( end zone is 10 yards )cause the goal is at the back of the end zone.
