Answer
John
There is no statistic kept for the aveage size of high school players; and frankly there is on accurate study that reflects the average size of college players. You have very good size for a high school football player (Reciever, RB, QB,CS, SS, FS, DE, OLB...)
You must understand that you will grow given your age. The key for you is to keep working out in the weightroom and running on a regular program. Building strength, muscle endurance, speed and quickness are what you need to focus on, not size. With weights you may get a little bigger and you a little heavier and that is a good thing as long as it is all muscle mass. BUT, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you also work on cardiovascular training, runuing to build your muscle endurance, your speed and your quickness.
I did not used to think core trainning was that big a deal, but I was wrong. I've have learned from strength coaches, athletic trainers and sports medicine physicians as well as several NCAA & NFL coaches that CORE training is vital to keeping players safe, healthy and helps to reduce injury.
