Eligilbilty

Question
In regards to answer earlier regarding my brothers ineligibility status with NCAA , the school stated they are making an appeal but we would have to sign a letter indicating we will pay for his college expenses. As we await the appeal,would you recommend signing the letter in agreeing to pay for my brothers college expenses? Is this fair after they promised a full scholarship? What do you recommend?

As you know no longer answer questions regarding eligibility or compliance matters and those issues remain outside my area of expertise.  I am not giving you the brush off, the question you ask is very serious and without reading all the documents and knowing all the facts from all points of view, it would be irresponsible of me to give you an answer.  

I maintain the position of an unbiased objective expert in my field.  Unfortunately I cannot make recommendations of what you or your family should do in this situation.  I do recommend your brother and family be in regular communication with the school and the compliance officer and that you cooperate through the appeal process.  I am sorry I cannot answer your follow up question/
