Hello, I am a sophomore and I am a starting varsity linebacker. I also am a running back. Football is almost over and i want to get ready for next season. So my question to you is what is the most effective and important workout/lift for football? If you could answer this i would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Brandon,

Bench press and squats, in my opinion, are the two biggest lifting techniques. Especially for linebackers and full backs. You also need to combine this with some cone agility drills and some good cardio work. In your cone drills, you want to make sure you are staying low and shoulders square.
