what tpe of ball do I have?

Hello
   I have a brunswick axis LE97239, what I don't know is what type
reactive or plastic. I have had the ball since the late 80's
and was thinking of getting back into bowling, and I don't know what my ball is. and should I get a new one?

Your ball is basic plastic (polyester). It was a brand sold through Big Box stores. Probably not the best places to get decent fitting bowling balls (they don't weight the ball for balance or even the correct weight!). A bowling ball fit should be so different than the goofy house balls that most people start out with that its night and day.

A ball should let go of you. Its hard to describe and you'd know it if you have it. If you don't, you gotta get it!! Thanks for the question. Welcome back to America's favorite indoor sport.
