11 lb bowing ball
Question
What is the best 11lb reactive ball that will hook at the backend and not loose momentum before it reaches the pins? Would a shinny smooth skin or dull skin make a difference? I am a senior and my ball speed is 8 to 10 mph. The pro shop is recommending a Brunswick Rattler, do you think this ball is suitable for someone only bowling for a year? Would you call this a mid range ball?
Thanks, Ola
Answer
Ola,
You've been bowling for a year and a pro shop is recommending reactive resin for 8-10mph ball speed? I think that's a bad idea. You roll the ball too slow for reactive. Certainly not a midpriced reactive.
A bowling ball is a tool. Your speed doesn't allow you to use anything more than basic plastic (at least while your building your skills). Thanks for the questions.
