pin .5 inches from CG
Question
QUESTION: How do I lay this ball out with the pin so close to the CG? I want the Jigsaw to hook at the back end. With the pin so close to the CG how will this effect the roll?
ANSWER: Ed,
oooppps. Internet ball. How much top weight does it have? 15# or 16? Depending on what you want it to do, you may be ok. long and late is doable with a pin in. What's you Positive Axis Point (PAP)? Let me know. Thanks for the question, more info and I can formulate some suggestions.

QUESTION: 15 lbs. 2.5 top, my best guess PAP is around 3 to 3.5
Answer
Ed,
Knowing exactly where your axis is, is the only way to lay out a performance ball. A shorter horizontal axis co-ordinate reflects more of a lower track, but if the PAP is 3 inches over and 3 inches up, guessing where you want to place the pin isn't going to help optimize your ball's assets. If the PAP is 3.5 over and zero up/down the layout effect could be dramatically different.
Your ball is a tough call. You might be able to position the pin just above or drilling it out with the middle finger hole will get some length, reduce the finger weight imbalance and not be too close to the PAP. Your ball could easily be problem, so please find a very good driller to do the final work and drilling. Thanks for your follow-up. Good luck with the Jigsaw.
