bowling ball and shoes
Question
i bought a performace ball so i can get better and help my score, and i bought it in 11 pounds bc that what fits me the best without getting sore after a couple games, should i think about getting a new ball thats weights more?
also the shoes i bought are Brunswick Mens Safari, they where kinds cheap only 50 dollars, could that have something to do with it?
also thank you for answering my questions
Answer
Les,
A custom fit for you should allow you to handle more ball weight. I'd use an 11lber for someone weighing less than 120 pounds. And a performance ball only if ball speed and rev rate (your skills) warranted it. Some ball sellers sell whatever to whomever. I hope your equipment provider has some desire to help you improve.
Your shoes are a basic sport style, and should NOT cause loss of stability as you slide. Your approach may have you out of balance as you deliver the ball. You might want to invest in a couple bowling lessons.
Thank you for wanting to be better and asking questions. Many people don't, get frustrated and just quit. Good luck and good bowling. I hope I hear from you again if I can help.
