Question
Attn:expert I have averaged from 185 -205 over the past 30+ yrs.I now have nerve damages in my legs which now does not allow me to walk to the line.I am now using only one step,i am having major problems with my delivery.Iam looking for some help with my delivery, can you help?
Answer
The one step delivery is a drill that some coaches use to teach the finish position. One thing to concentrate on with the one step approach is to keep the arm really loose so the swing can be used to create ball speed. Once the ball gets to its highest point, start your step. In this way, all of the momentum will be going towards the pins and will help your accuracy. The slide foot should come to a stop just before the ball arrives at the release point.
Good luck,
