QuestionI am in the market for a new ball. I seem to keep going back to the C(System)4.5 and Anaconda. I have found a couple sites online to buy from that are much cheaper than the local pro shops. Is it a safe bet if I were to buy a ball online? Also, how often do balls crack from the drilling so I know whether or not I should get the drilling insurance on the ball if I do decide to go with online.
Thank You.

Hello Kyle, for me, anything that keeps the economy moving is a good thing. So buying online is great. You just don't have the quick one or two day response you would get from a local pro shop. With a local pro shop, you can actually see the ball, hold it and talk about it face to face with a pro shop professional. Truthfully, I have never had a problem with online order, ever! Always get the insurance and keep the receipt!!!! Pro shops are very mindful of not drilling into a ball very fast and hard no matter what the make up of the cover/core combination is.
Kyle, if you are throwing the C/4.5 or the Anaconda you are probably playing inside more than most with a little more hand in the ball, with a later recovery or breakpoint. A bowling ball's recovery to the pocket is based on many things. Sometimes we happen upon the right numbers in a ball regarding the cover, core and ball layout. Such match ups give our game new life, and when we stray from them for whatever reason, we truly are not happy with the reaction we get.
Whether a straight bowler is stringing strikes, or a cranker is pounding out a perfect 10 or more, I really enjoy watching it all unfold.
In summary Kyle, online purchasing is great. Especially if they have what your pro shop locally does not carry. Get insurance, keep your receipt.
Both bowling balls you mentioned have proven cores that respond like a cop car to a bank robbery! Last thing you want is someone getting all the money nowadays, unless it's you!
BuddiesProShop.com has a video of the two bowling balls. Check them out!
