drilling a new brunswick anaconda
Question
I bought a new Anaconda and took it and the drilling layouts nto my pro shop. I asked for max hook and arc. The layout has the pin and CG area 3 inches apart in a straight line. My driller said that if I keep then pin below my fingers, then the thumb hole would end up in the cg area. I have a medium track, throw a 13 lb ball at 200+ rpm around 14mph. I spoke to Blowlingball.com tech and he said it really did not matter, just move the thumb hole to the left and keep the cg to the right. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am looking for more aggressive back end with a fairly decent length.
thanks

Answer
If you are wanting more backend and decent lenght, I would not place the pin below the fingers as that will cause the ball to react sooner. The pin below will creat more arc though, but with your ball speed, I dont think you would see enough reaction down the lane.
I would go with the layout your pro shop has, but maybe move the pin up to at least even with the finger holes.
Good luck,
