QuestionCurious if you knew what the last number was referring to on this lay-out 45 5 70. Pretty sure the first is 45% (from PAP to Pin to MB) by 5" (PAP to Pin), Just not sure what the last number is. Hope you can help. Thanks

Hi Will, The last number on the dual angle layout is the PAP to VAL angle.
Basically what you are describing (45 X 5" X 70) is a layout with a drill angle to the Mass Bias of "45 degrees," then the distance of the Pin to PAP of "5 inches," and lastly, the measurement of the Pin and PAP line when measured against the VAL line "70 degrees."
This particular layout places the pin in a higher RG position.
Please visit this my friend, Mo Pinel's website. He personally gave me a copy of the dual angled layout technique during the USBC OPEN Championships here in Las Vegas a few years ago. Somehow he could just see I was gonna love it!!! Since I started drilling, I truly have. Thanks Mo!
Thanks for your question Will... It's awesome to see bowlers learning more about the bowling ball verses just throwing away money on the latest and greatest.
The bowler, the bowling balls, the lanes, the support equipment...it all works, but we have to do just like you, and take a more active roll in finding out what is right for our bowling game.
Great Job, God's Blessings to you!
