Bowling ball suggestions

Question
Hello! I have been bowling for around 5 years, on and off, and recently started bowling in a league after 20 years. My average is increasing back to where I was 20 years ago, 179. I am still using the "black hammer", from decades ago, but feel I am loosing some pin action in the pocket. My stance is consistent through my slide, at use 1 or 2 boards left of the center dot. When releasing my ball, I am standing at the same point that I started from. My mark is the 8th board and my ball carries down the lane before it makes it break into the pocket. Of course, i have a little more loft in the ball to keep it from coming across the pocket. I am looking to upgrade the 16lb hammer, with something comparable and hoping for more pin action. We have a Brunswick dealer coming to town and allowing people to throw anyone of their balls, before you buy it. I am unsure if I want to go with a reactive resin or stick with the urethane ball. Recently, I was eyeing the black widow pearl and was unable to make the purchase before selling out. My main ball, I also use for my spare ball, but sometimes have difficulty with the 10 pin and my hook. In this case, I stand 3 boards left of the last dot and throw near the 3rd arrow, with extra loft. Can you provide me any suggestions on a good all around ball for any condition? I usually make extreme adjustments to my stance and mark, under medium to dry lane conditions, but loose alot of control doing that. Look forward to your reply!

Hi Richard, loved your question. You can adjust how you deliver the ball. Also, you use 16 pound equipment. The great news is that you are getting better and just want a better ball to go with your current urethane black hammer!  揧ou want a ball that you can use on any condition.?However, you mentioned mostly medium to dry lane. You loft the ball somewhat.
First, you bowl on a medium to dry lane. You first have to 揼et the ball for that condition.?Generally, that is what you look at first when selecting a bowling ball of any kind. If you stay with Hammer it would be something like the Hammer 揜ayzr,?揃acklash,?or the Hammer 揜aw Toxic.?br>   Let's address the 10 pin action first. This often cost most bowlers their 200 average. You could easily pick up 20 to 30 pins there. With my new bowling book, 揟rue Bowler Adjustments,?I give you 8 lines to the ten pin.
I also give you valuable secret tips to train your hand and fingers to deliver a consistent release to the 7 pin and 10 pin. I talk about dry conditions for the 10, and wet conditions for the 10 pin. Real world stuff!
Richard, in today's modern game there often is not one ball that can do it all. However, a symmetrical ball is often close to the smooth move you would get from the urethane ball with a little reactive kick. There are many on the market. Take care and best of luck to you!!!
