Storm Thunder Road
Question
Hello Warren,
I got my first and only 300 game back in 2002 using a Storm Thunder Road (14 lb). The ball is pretty old now, and I would like to replace it with something comparable. (I'll still keep it as a memento) I have tried Storm's Hy Road, and T-Road Regular and pearl, but just dont seem to get the same action. Is there another ball you would recommend?
One more thing please, I got my 300 in Carson City Nv. I have since moved to Mississippi, and am not scoring as well as I did in Nv. I know houses are different, but does cilmate make a difference? I seem to get more hook on the back end here in Ms. than I did in Nv. I've tried adjusting my stance (I'm left handed) but cant to seem to correct this. Any suggestions?
Thank You
Answer
Gordon,
Storm is revisiting the Thunder Road core with the Victory Road, now available.
Climate, humidity, different lane oils and patterns make for the nuances in the typical bowling center (among MANY others). Adjusting the surface of the ball to lose some energy rolling down lane will help moderate the reaction you're getting. Thanks for the questions, good luck and good bowling.
