bowling ball repair
Question
My bowling ball was left in the heat and cracked all the way around the ball. is there any way to fix this.
Answer
Unfortunately when a ball cracks the cost of the repair, in conjunction with the potential problems you may encounter, may not be justified. Assuming your local pro shop uses filler to fill in the cracks there are undoubtedly "micro fractures" that you may not see as well the potential problem of the coverstock separating from the core.
The filler may also make the ball illegal since the diameter of the ball has now expanded by the width of the filler.
If your ball is more than 10 years old you'll see BIG advantages as soon as you invest in a new ball.
Sincerely,
Ron Hall
