Questioni work at ok lanes and we have wood lanes to work with. the thing is we have pretty damaged lanes more towards the front where the approaches are and the back ends where the pin decks are. i am using logic for the oil cause we were told that was the best to use on wood lanes i was wondering what kind of cleaner would be great to use on wood lanes also. but its really sloppy down here and I'm trying to fix it i wonder if you might have some pointers that i can use to make the shot out there decent enough. its leaving allot of splits and what not thanks
AnswerNathan,
You have a commercial venture, my intention volunteering for this service is to provide a source of information for bowlers who may not have someone with my level of experience or training available to them.
I do commercial consulting, if you'd like to discuss that drop a note to my website (
[email protected]). Getting some input from someone who is not tied to selling you something, has ALWAYS provided me with unbiased information, where the success of the center and satisfaction of the bowlers was the most important thing.
What are your responsibilities at OK Lanes? Mechanic? manager? Who does your resurfacing? I've never heard of logic, who makes it? Who recommended it? Do you have a lane machine? What kind of lane machine do you have?
Typically the manufacturers of lane oil(s) make cleaners that they recommend with their products. Are you dealing with a distributor? the manufacturer? Where are you located? Let me know and I can try to get you on the right track.
Thanks for the question, good luck with OK Lanes.
