Answer
Hi Terrel,
I marvel at what those guys can do but to be honest, I do not know how they do what they do. It is awesome to watch but not very practical if you are trying to make a club, high school, or college team. I had a player who's younger brother was awesome at all those moves and I asked him how he learned them all. His response was that he had all the and one tapes and just watched them over and over. He would then go and practice all the moves on the tapes. If you are just playing for fun and not trying to play for any organized team then have at it and have fun with the street game. But, if you are trying to play for a team then I would practice my fundamentals and defense. The and one moves are only going to get you a spot on the bench or cut from the team. Look at Raffer Alston(Skip to my Lou, he figured it out and it took him a long time to be succesful in the NBA. He was cut once or twice from the NBA before making it big. If you watch the interviews with these guys they are all there because they didn't take the right path. They all want to be in the NBA and a lot of them defintely have the talent. The problem is they never took the right path. Going to school working within the team structure. Okay enough of my lectures. Whatever you choose to do good luck and have fun. Basketball is fun but a lot of hard work.
