Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I'm 16 & a fan of basketball & NBA. I'm very desperate with my height as my height only 5ft6inch. I really want to touch the rim & dunk. I want my height atleast 6ft3inch & i want to increase in 10 days.Hope you will answer my question asap. Are there any workouts should i practise?
ANSWER: Hello Shahmi,
I want to preface my answer by saying I am not a doctor and therefore I cannot give you any medical advice in regards to how to grow faster. I can tell you that there really is no way of speeding that up. Your only 16 years old and you have plenty of time to grow. How much you will grow I cannot answer either. However, as much as you want to grow in the next 10 days, your not going to grow enough where you will notice. Also my expertise is in Basketball Rules and Officiating not training, so I really don't know if there are any exercises to speed up growth. Sorry, but good luck.

QUESTION: Hi mr bret temple,
ok, just ask ur friend on how to increase height, it really stress me because some people who are age 15 can grow till 6ft but i'm nearly 17, my height still 5ft6inch, hope u will bring a good news for me.
Answer
hi Shahmi,
I spoke to a doctor and he said there is really no way to increase height. It's pretty much pre-determined in our genes, however you can increase flexibility by stretching every day. In addition do not lift heavy weights while your in your growing stages because too much muscle can inhibit the bones from growing properly. I will tell you that some boys can continue to grow and sometimes do when they hit college age. Maybe you haven't hit your growth spurt yet. I hope that helps.
