my arm and infield

Question
QUESTION: thanks for taking your time to answer my question.  I am a freshmen in high school and i was throwing and hurt my arm.  The doctor said i just hurt my rotator cuff.  And i have heeled but i still don't have the arm i used to have.My question is will i ever have my arm back?  I play 3b and i am only 5 feet and 2 inches tall and i was wondering if in the future if i grow a little but i am still small will i still have a chance at playing 3b still?  Thanks and i look foreword to hearing back from you!

ANSWER: I'm going to need a little more information about your "hurt" arm before I can give you my advice. I need to know what "hurt" really means. Was it a sprain, inflammation, tear, slap tear? If you say that you have healed but you don't have the arm that you use to then you really haven't healed. Let me know exactly what the doctor said and then I'll give you your next step.

QUESTION: Hurt- Whenever i throw i still feel i little soreness in my shoulder. It was a inflammation. The doctor said i can take motrin.  I took that and it did improve.  However i still dont have the arm i had.

Answer
If you have done everything that the doctor has advised then you need to go back and tell him/her so. I was in this very same position when I was younger. The doctor told me inflammation but it never improved and it turned out that I had a tear that could have been fixed early but healed improperly. My advice is to go back and tell them that you still feel pain when throwing if don't feel that 100% recovery is possible. If its continuing to improve even if slowly then waiting might be the best case.
