Follow-Up Question
Question
You previously answered a question about eligibilty and travel teams (your answer is below). Where can I find this in the Little League Rules? The question was asked in May
Thanks.
-------------------------------------------------------Little League has just announced (only two weeks ago I believe) that players may play on a Little League Tournament Team, and participate in other youth baseball/softball activities.
The rule you are talking about has to do with a player in Little League who plays Majors then wants to play Juniors. In the Little League program they may only be rostered and play in ONE DIVISION. Travel ball and other youth programs fall into a different category.
Please remember that if a player is participating on a Little League All Star team, and a travelball team, they must be able to commit fully to the Little League Tournament. Any activities that are detrimental to the smooth operation of the tournament team or to the international tournament can be grounds from removal from the team.
I hope this has answered your question. Should you have anymore, please don't hesitate to ask.

Answer
Gary,
You can visit the Little League website link that talks about it:
http://www.littleleague.org/media/tournament_bulletins_08.asp
It states:
"Participation in Other Programs - The rule that prohibits players from participating in non-Little League programs (dual participation), once Little League tournament play has begun, has been rescinded at all levels of play for baseball and softball. However, the local Little League retains the right to dismiss a player from a tournament team if the player repeatedly misses games and practices."
