Pitching a slurve
Question
Hey dennis,
Im going to an all-star tourney in about a week and i need to practice my slurve. The problem is its coming out like a circle change curving inside so can you tell me how or send me a chart with a picture of the correct fingering
Answer
Hey Cole,
Grip the ball like a four-seamer.
Move your fingers together so they are touching.
This is the correct grip for a slurve. Move your fingers slightly down and tilt them a little bit to the right.
When you throw it, throw it three-fourths of the way and snap your wrist very intensly. It should look like any other pitch but dive away from a righty.
This will help you..
Good Luck
Dennis
