Cal ripken vs. Little League
Question
What are the differences between Cal Ripken and Little League rules when playing on same size field (60' bases)?
Answer
Helen,
There are not much difference between the two programs. One of the major differences between Little League and Cal Ripken is that Little League restricts pitchers based on pitches thrown (i.e: a pitcher who pitches 40 pitches in a game has to rest two days and one game before pitching again). In Cal Ripken, it is based on innings pitched (i.e: a pitchers who pitches 4 inning in a game has to rest two days before pitching again).
Other than organizational structure, there is not much difference between the two.
I hope this has helped. Should you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
