Question
I am the father of a 12 year old pitcher. He has pitched for 3 seasons. Outside of the throwing drills, is there any recommended weight training or exercises that would be beneficial for his pitching?

I wouldn't worry about weight training drills yet. Your son is young and still growing. You should have him focus on his mechanics, accuracy, and mastering the change-up first. When he is older and starts to weight train, I believe the best training programs come from Bigger Faster Stronger. You can check them out at www.biggerfasterstronger.com.
