Question
When you run to first base I know you can run,touch base and return to the first base if u happen to run past it because of your momentum. Can you do the same for second and third base?

Answer
Yes you are allowed to go past second and third base as well.  The only difference is that when you past first base, the players in the field can't tag you out.  If you pass second or third, they can tag you out.  This means you want to be extra careful with your momentum when running to second and third.  If it's a close play you should try sliding into the bag with will slow you down so you don't go past the base.  It will also make it harder for the fielders to tag you if it is not a force play.  Hope this helps!  Go to www.yougoprobaseball.com for more info.  Thanks
