Size of bat for a seven year old

My son is 7 years old and starting coach pitch.  What length and weight of bat should he use at this time?

I would think a 26 to 28 inch bat would be a good size.  Age is a good starting point for picking a bat size but it also goes by height and weight.  When you go buy a bat go to a training facility that has a pro shop.  They would probably know best and can fit your son with the correct length.
