Henry Aarons nixed homer 1965
Question
This article was in the Sports Page a long time ago under This Day in Sports, Where can I find the actual record of this happening?
1965--Henry Aaron of the Braves hit a Curt Simmons pitch on top of the pavilion roof at Sportsman's Park, St. Louis, for an apparent home run. However, umpire Chris Pelekoudas called him out for being out of the batter's box when he connected. Nevertheless, the Braves won the game 6-2.
Answer
Harry,
Here's a link to someone's remembrance of that event:

Since it contains a date, you could visit your local library, get a microfiche of a St. Louis paper and read an account of the game from the local sports writers!
Hope this helps!
