QUESTION: can a parent decide she wants her kid on differrent team after the draft with no prior such complaints of any kind.
ANSWER: Hey Tom,
It is totally up to the commissioner in your league.. With the right reason, it shouldn't be a problem.

QUESTION: this is a junior league, 13-14 year olds. there are only two teams.she found out who was on what team and then decided to switch teams because the other team had more experience. that is not fair to the coach that picked him first.do you think its ok if she says the child does not want to play for a certain coach.(after the draft)
Answer
Hey Tom,
Now this is different.
No, it is NOT fair to her original team. If she was picked first, it compounds the problem. Her original team will suffer from the loss and the team she goes to, will have an unfair advantage.
My suggestion would be to ask and see if any good player would like to switch teams to try to even the teams more.. Also, when a late player signs up, have her play catch with the commissioner, to see her skill level. If that player is good, you could place that player on the team to level the playing field.
Another possibility would be to find a good player that has NOT signed up, and convince her to play, and even the teams there...
This is a tough situation.. You CANNOT allow the switch, until these things are resolved. Maybe if everyone sat down and talked about it, something can be resolved.
Good Luck.. Keep in touch..
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
