THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOU REPLY ...I KNOW IT SEEMS UNLIKELY BUT IM NOT GOING TO FLY ALL THE WAY OUT TO THE USA TO MAKE A FOOL OF MYSELF I CAN DO THIS..ANYWAY GOOD, NEWS I HAVE RECEVED AN E-MAIL FROM COACH ZACH WILSON (COLARADO ROCKIES)HE HAS SENT ME A CONTACT NUMBER FOR THE CLUB AND WHAT IS EXPECTED AT TRYOUTS 60 YARD 6.8sec 30 yards 4.3 bullpen(not quite sure what this is-i think its like a practice area) 88-90mph..THATS TO MAKE IT TO DAY 2 ( NO INFO ON DAY 2 YET)...HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT MOST CLUBS ONLY TAKE AGES 16-23..BUT I COULD TRY KANSAS CITY+DETROIT WHO WILL LOOK AT ANY AGE PLAYER..Mr WILSON SAID I COULD ARRANGE A TRYOUT BY CONTACTING THE CLUB .HAVING NEVER BEEN TO A TRYOUT BEFORE,I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE WITH ME WHO UNDERSTANDS IT.. I KNOW YOU DONT KNOW ME BUT I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO HELP ME ON ARIVAL IN THE USA AND COME TO TRY OUTS WITH ME,I WILL PAY FOR ALL OUR EXPENCES AND YOUR TIME..I UNDERSTAND IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO THIS
BUT I KNOW I HAVE A GOOD CHANCE I JUST NEED SOME HELP..

Sorry I haven't answered until today. We were out of town. I do understand that you would not put yourself on the line without being able to do it and I appreciate your attitude. This is good news for you. The 60 yard and 30 yard times are running times. They want a pitcher to be fast enough to be able to cover first base on balls hit to the right side of the infield, so start running and get your times down below those numbers. They also want to see your fastball velocity at least 88mph.
It would be very difficult for me to get away to go with you to a tryout, but I do believe that God has a way of putting people together to get things done. However, I would ask that you would make a videotape of yourself pitching so that I could see it. I still cannot promise that I could go with you as I have a business and family and a ball team to take care of, but I am considering it. If I cannot, I am also trying to talk to some people I know that may be able to help.
You have definitely peaked my interest. I love baseball and I feel that I have been put on this earth to help people. I know that sounds kind of goofy, but so does a 31 year old Englishman who can throw the big heat! Again, my email address is

Keep throwing and work on the running times. Don't worry about hitting, I would think that your place would be as a relief pitcher, so you won't even have to swing a bat.
