Pitching & basic throwing
Question
I am 15 and the last 2 or 3 years my throwing rotation has gotten bad. I cant get my arm to reach back with out it feeling unnatural. Because of that I am short arming everything. I think it is due to the fact that I have grown a lot recently. I'm wondering if you have any suggestions on how I can fix my throwing rotation, so I can reach back completely and not have it feel unnatural?
Answer
It's likely as much psychological as physical. I'd start a structured long toss program. Eventually, you'll be able to find your optimal arm path by long tossing regularly. Just focus on distance and accuracy with the long toss instead of arm path. I suspect you'll be happy with the results.
